Hugh Hamilton is a highly skilled photographer and videographer with over three decades of experience. He began his career shooting for The Sydney Theatre Company and iconic productions like Cats and Les Miserables. His portfolio soon expanded to include Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar portraits.
Moving into advertising he created memorable campaigns for Qantas, Telstra, and The Commonwealth Bank and landmark work The Sydney Dance Company and The Australian Ballet. His Wonderbra ad gained widespread acclaim. Relocating to Los Angeles in 2005, Hugh contributed to corporate and academic visuals while maintaining a strong presence in editorial portraiture, including a Rolling Stone cover .
Back in Sydney since 2015, Hugh and his team now specialize in short videos for diverse clients in both the corporate and arts sectors. He has been the in house videographer for The Sydney Writers and Film Festivals for over seven years. He continues to serve Los Angeles-based clients and shares his expertise through filmmaking tutorials.
